Cooperative Educational Services recently released its list of approved Job Order Contractors (JOC) for a 4-year agreement open to its members. The contracts, intended for use on capital improvement projects throughout the state, are awarded after a rigorous competitive proposal process assessing a company's experience, personnel, and financial strength. JBH has received both a general and mechanical contract award.
JBH Promotes New Rio Rancho Area Manager
Jerry Sanchez has been promoted to Rio Rancho Area Manager, most recently serving JBH as a piping estimator. Mr. Sanchez has 25 years of construction experience including serving as an estimator, project manager, and general foreman. Mr. Sanchez is experienced in high-tech and commercial construction, bringing a unique expertise perfectly aligned with the Rio Rancho construction market. As Area Manager, Mr. Sanchez is accountable for the direction, leadership and oversight of the Rio Rancho office, responsible for the area’s projects, personnel, and customers. His field experience and administrative capabilities make him an asset to every project he leads.

JBH Promotes New Estimating Manager
Michael holds over 30 years of experience in the piping industry and is versed in all stages of construction from estimating through project planning and installation. As Estimating Manager, Michael uses this experience to provide direction, leadership and oversight to the JBH estimating department encompassing HVAC, process and traditional piping, plumbing, and architectural scopes of work.

Annual JBH Safety T-Shirt Contest Winner: HVAC Estimator Leish Weger
The 9th Annual JBH Safety logo contest is complete for 2015 and after reviewing 10 employee (and family) nominations, the JBH Safety Committee has revealed the winning design. Congratulations to JBH HVAC Estimator Leish Weger who submitted the winning design, representing the 2015 safety theme of “Playing with a Full Deck” and incorporating the JBH logo, values, and areas of operations. As recognition for a safe first quarter each JBH employee will receive their own shirt custom styled by Leish.

JBH celebrates 56 years of service on May 5, 2015. Jack B. Henderson started the company in Albuquerque, NM on this date in 1959 as a small general contracting firm. Today, JBH is a leader in general contracting and process-piping throughout New Mexico, Arizona, and New York!
