This initial phase calls for improvements to the mechanical (HVAC), electrical, plumbing and fire systems at this Los Alamos landmark. Fuller Lodge is listed on the Nationally Registered Historic Places, as well as the New Mexico State Register of Historic Properties. The Los Alamos community considers this facility to be the “Crown Jewel” of Los Alamos, for its early days as a Ranch School for boys, as well as the significant role it played during the Manhattan Project. The lodge also maintains stunning architecture which must remain unharmed during the construction process in a manner that will not compromise the historic character of the facility.
