Project Coordinator – Albuquerque, NM (New Position)

Working under the mentorship of a Project Manager, the Project Coordinator is responsible for the identified aspects of the project life cycle including assisting with the coordination of activities including project documentation and maintenance through final invoicing and post-construction activities.

Education and Experience:

Minimum 1 year in the construction industry or equivalent education in a related field (college or vocational school courses)

Purchase order experience a plus

Knowledge, Skills & Abilities:

  • Strong interpersonal skills
  • Elementary knowledge of job costing/budgeting
  • Basic knowledge of accounting principles
  • Ability to read and understand specifications and plans
  • Thorough knowledge of arithmetic and the decimal system
  • Knowledge of construction methods and local permit practices
  • Basic estimating capability for change order generation
  • “Common sense” construction practice knowledge

Continuous Improvement Coordinator – New Mexico

Working under the mentorship of the Lean/Continuous Improvement Manager, serve as champion for designated operational area(s) focused on promoting a lean culture by improving processes, eliminating waste and optimizing flow across company areas/departments while assisting in keeping employee engagement and respect at the forefront.  Working in conjunction with area and departments managers, assist in developing, educating and aligning employees on company guiding principles, practices and philosophies of continuous improvement.  Serve as an internal consultant to employees and provide advice, support and encouragement in establishing and sustaining lean/continuous improvement.

Education and Experience:

  • Four years’ administrative experience
  • Previous experience in construction, operations, leadership, engineering or continuous improvement roles preferred
  • Previous project management and training experience preferred

EH&S Representative – Job Location: Chandler, AZ

The Environmental Health & Safety (EH&S) Representative is responsible for the implementation and administration of the corporate safety program at the job-site/area, trend analysis and all reporting activities.  Ensure the behavior of the crew is in accordance with company safety culture.  Understands the lagging and leading safety indicators and promotes a philosophy that achieves established goals.  Identification of job site/area specific safety requirements, safety equipment, material procurement, training requirements and tracking of training.

Education and Experience:

  • Five years previous construction safety experience required
  • Previous semiconductor/clean room experience strongly preferred
  • Current OSHA 500 Certification (Train the Trainer course) strongly preferred
  • Construction Health and Safety Technician (CHST) or Certified Safety and Health Official (CSHO) preferred
  • High School Diploma or equivalent required
  • Some background in Industrial Hygiene highly desirable

Knowledge, Skills & Abilities:

  • Ability to work a 60/60/50 schedule
  • Ability to recognize and correct safety-related hazards and targeted safety trends
  • Strong management, leadership and interpersonal skills with the ability to communicate well both verbally and in writing
  • Ability to interpret and apply OSHA standards
  • Proficient in MS Windows/Office programs
  • Ability to work long hours and travel

Project Manager II – Los Alamos, NM

The Project Manager II will work under the leadership of the Area Manager. Responsible for the overall management of the project life cycle including all activities such as contract negotiations and execution through final invoicing and project post construction activities. The project management activities also include providing information and ongoing communication to direct reports, Estimators, internal and external customers, and other team members, as the project warrants. Accountable to discuss estimating related issues with the Estimating Director or the trade Estimator (if applicable at the JBH area office). This applies throughout the project life cycle, including pre-bid and post-bid.

Education and Experience:

  • Minimum 5 years Project Manager experience in the construction industry
  • Previous construction trade experience preferred
  • Mechanical experience highly preferred

Knowledge, Skills & Abilities:

  • Advanced Project Management
  • Ability to generate and modify progress schedules
  • Construction contract process expertise
  • Extensive knowledge of job costing/budgeting
  • Proven ability to accurately interpret contracts
  • Ability to interpret all trades specifications and plans
